Mercedes-Benz SLR to return? Daimler renews trademark

Mercedes-Benz could have plans for a new SLR sports car after parent company Daimler moved to renew the trademark this month. The Drive first spotted the trademark renewal and reported the news on Thursday. The automaker officially filed the renewal on March 1 via a New York-based law firm. The 2019 Geneva International Motor Show has come and gone, and it was another bumper year especially for performance fans. Acura MDX crossover, TLX sedan up for redesigns soon

While the 2019 Acura RDX ushered in Acura’s latest design language, both the MDX and TLX are on deck for the full-boat version of that treatment in the near future.
