C8 Corvette quarter-mile time and trap speed reportedly leaked

As if we weren’t already impressed with the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette’s performance stats, the car’s official quarter-mile time leaked on Tuesday, and it’s fast. Like, really fast. A snapshot of a General Motors engineering booklet was posted on the fan site Corvetteforum.com, and later picked up by Motor1. Why the C8 Corvette has asymmetrical side mirrors

If you’ve looked at head-on photos of the mid-engine 2020 Chevrolet Corvette (or been fortunate enough to check one out in person), you may have noticed that it sports side mirrors with unequal-length mounts. Unequal-length side mirrors may…

Mid-engine 2020 Chevrolet Corvette reportedly not getting chrome wheel option

The mid-engine layout and lack of manual transmission aren’t the only major shifts for the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Corvette Chief Engineer and Vehicle Line Director Tadge Juechter told Car and Driver in a report last Thursday that there will be “no chrome available” on the mid-engine Corvette. The shiniest wheel option on the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will reportedly feature a polished design, but that’s not chrome. 2020 Chevrolet Corvette…

Cars Direct reported on the news on Tuesday after viewing the latest order guide for the mid-engine Corvette Stingray. Just like the C7 Corvette’s program, the VIN customization will be relegated to the last five digits of the number. 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray That leaves open…
